What original reflections do the information and communication sciences propose when analyzing the communication dimension of epistemological and methodological problems? Why consider the acts and logic of communication, not as ancillary to the work of research, but as a constituent dimension of such work? How do we question the production, circulation, and success of social science theories as communication practices? Études de Communication proposes a critical review of the work of knowledge production in the social sciences by questioning the operations and principles they develop and by placing these questions in a larger context, that of the communicational status of the social sciences themselves.
